Student life in Netherlands is rich and exciting. If you are tired of studying and look for a small brake, an incredible amount of activities is always waiting for you. Student organizations as ESN and students associations make it easy to find people with common interests and have fun together.
Life and living
The Netherlands is a relatively small country, so it is possible to live in almost any other city and travel to Delft and Leiden for courses, though Leiden and Delft are of course the most popular choices for living when studying in Leiden or Delft. A very big part of the Leiden population as well as the population of Delft is student and, because of that, the city centers offer many bars and discotheques. Sport facilities
Universities of Leiden and Delft offer a wide range of sport activities and facilities. Among others: tennis, aerobics, dancing, and swimming. Usually sport activities are not included in your university tuition fee and require a small additional fee.
